Description
Patient is a 70 year old female who came in to the office with an obvious rupture of her saline implant positioned in the right breast with a capsular contracture in the left breast. The right implant was deflated the rest of the way in office. The left implant was deflated, as well. The patient then returned to the office after a couple months to re-evaluate her breast. As seen in the 3rd photo, the patient’s own breast tissue had begun to “refluff” and the capsule had softened somewhat. Both implants were later removed and replaced under general anesthesia.
